This complex 5-stage project in the City of Industry involves multiple phases, including extensive railroad track, retaining wall, bridge, sewer, and storm drain construction, with a primary focus on minimizing disruption to adjacent businesses and addressing specific railroad infrastructure needs.
The construction of two multi-span concrete bridges on Seaside Ave. elevated the road for future unit train services, utilized cost-efficient MSE walls, maintained 24-hour shipping terminal access, involved multi-jurisdictional coordination, and received recognition for excellence in project management.
The project involved adding 16 miles of HOV lanes in both directions between Pigeon Pass and Redlands Boulevard, which included bridge demolition, construction of five overcrossings, Caltrans oversight, and stormwater management measures.
