BergCM provided construction management, inspection, and materials testing services for the $4.5 million dual roadway project in Rialto, enhancing traffic flow and safety on Alder Avenue and Randall Avenue by improving signals, adding lanes, sidewalks, landscaping, and addressing a six-point intersection while effectively coordinating utility relocations and traffic control
BergCM served as the prime construction manager for the federally funded Sunset Strip Beautification Project, which involved resurfacing 1.65 miles of roadway, upgrading traffic signals, ensuring ADA compliance for sidewalks and driveways, and providing public outreach services for nearby businesses and residents, including a 24-hour helpline.
As Prime Construction Manager, BergCM provided constructibility review, construction management, cost estimating and scheduling for the simultaneous construction of these two landmark projects.
The SR-23 Widening and Sound Wall Project added lanes to SR-23, including sound walls, while the State Route 118 Widening Project expanded the Ronald Reagan Highway with additional lanes, bridge modifications, sound walls, landscaping, detector loops, ramp meters, and changeable message signs.
The project involved adding 16 miles of HOV lanes in both directions between Pigeon Pass and Redlands Boulevard, which included bridge demolition, construction of five overcrossings, Caltrans oversight, and stormwater management measures.
