Frisbie Park Sewer Lift Station

Major components of the project included construction of a force main, storm drain modifications, two gravity lines, and a sewer lift station. The project improved safety for motorists and pedestrians along both segments of the roadway and included asphalt paving, PCC sidewalk installment, driveways, curb and gutter, and street lighting. Work that contained roadway improvements required cold-milling, construction of ADA ramps, double adjusted manholes, backfill and compaction tests, and installation of traffic loops. The 4-month project also included installation of new 4-inch diameter PVC pipe and 8-inch diameter clay pipe. Much emphasis was placed on coordination with the utility companies for the project. The Berg Team encountered several utility companies delays but was able to coordinate with utility executives to resolve the issues and to move the project faster towards completion.
