Sunset Strip Beautification

BergCM served as Prime construction manager for the City’s Sunset Strip Beautification Project, a federally funded ARRA project that required impeccable documentation for maximum reimbursements and compliance. The project resurfaced 1.65 miles of existing roadway with asphalt rubber hot mix (ARHM) overlay, upgraded the traffic signal system, replaced sidewalks, curbs, gutters, and driveways to make them ADA compliant, median landscaping, storm drain and catch basin work, as well as pedestrian enhancements. BergCM also provided public outreach services incorporating construction notifications, mailers, and face-to-face visits in order to inform nearby businesses and residents of planned activities. BergCM monitored a 24-hour helpline, answered by our public outreach coordinator, who gave real-time answers to caller’s questions or concerns.
