The project demolished two existing beds and reconstructed eight new. In total there is just over 54,000 square feet of 8″ thick reinforced concrete. The perimeter walls are constructed in two parts using water-stop to protect the surrounding soils. The concrete was poured over a 30-mil liner and center drains were removed and reinstalled into a revised design drain trench. This was a $1.2M project, but with Chang Order of $1.3M ended up at $2.5M.
